Spare capacity at Milton Keynes coronavirus drive through today as people urged to book tests now

    People are being urged to book tests if they are eligible at the Milton Keynes coronavirus drive through testing centre as a number of slots are available today.

    The test centre has capacity available all day today, with slots being available to book online.

    You can apply online if you meet any one of the below criteria:

    • All those working on the frontline in health and social care, with or without symptoms 
    • Patients in the NHS, with or without symptoms
    • All other essential workers with symptoms
    • People who live with essential workers with symptoms
    • People aged over 65 with symptoms
    • Anyone who goes into work because they cannot work from home and have symptoms

    Ben Everitt, the MP for Milton Keynes North, said: "We've significantly ramped up testing capacity. If you're eligible, you can get tested at the drive through site."

    You can book online by going to GOV.UK and clicking one of the options under the 'Testing for Coronavirus' section.
