Share your #VirtualSmile for MK SNAP this Monday 18th January

    Join local charity, MK SNAP, by sharing your #virtualsmile and spreading some feel good vibes whilst raising vital funds for a service which promotes inclusivity, fun and respect in Milton Keynes.

    During a time of isolation and challenging mental health issues, MK SNAP aims to promote virtual smiles which are contagious in their own right. A smile which makes you smile automatically makes you feel good, releasing the ‘feel good high’ in our brains.

    At MK SNAP their core value are inclusive, they aim to create and promote a service which is available to everyone regardless of disability, language or differences. A smile is a universal language, something we can all join together and understand.

    Launching January 18th

    Beat the ‘Monday Blues’ and upload a #virtualsmile photo to social media. whether it be a selfie, a photo of a loved one or even your pet.

    During a time of isolation with a newsfeed full of difficult news, MK SNAP challenges you to brighten the day and fill our newsfeed with your best smile.

    Smiling not only offers a mood boost but helps our bodies release cortisol and endorphins that provide numerous health benefits, including:

    • Reduced blood pressure.

    • Increased endurance.

    • Reduced pain.

    • Reduced stress.

    • Strengthened immune system.

    • Universal language

    By going viral we can avoid the isolation created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

    How to join in

    1. Upload your smiley photo to social media - it can be a selfie, a photo of a loved one or even your pet.

    2. Copy and paste the following and tag 3 friends to join in: “During a time of isolation with a newsfeed full of scary and upsetting news, I challenge you (tag 3 people) to brighten my day and fill my newsfeed with your best smile.
