M&S set aside first hour of opening to select groups

Retailers Marks and Spencer will be setting aside the first hour of trading on certain days for their older and vulnerable customers, as well as NHS and emergency workers.

Older and vulnerable customers will, starting tomorrow (Friday 20th March), be able to access the items an hour before everybody else.

Going forward after that, this will apply on Mondays and Thursdays.

Meanwhile, for NHS and Emergency workers, this will apply on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Visit www.marksandspencers.com/stores to find out the opening times of your store in Milton Keynes.

This does not include franchise stores in petrol and railway stations.

Marks and Spencer said via a post on their official Twitter page: “Supporting our customers and communities during this difficult time is our number one priority. We want to make sure everyone has access to the items they need.

We ask our customers to respect this request, as it's the kindness and support we show each other that will get us through this."
