Red Arrows to fly over near Milton Keynes this weekend

The iconic RAF squadron will be conducting a flyover near Silverstone to mark the start of the British Grand Prix.

To kick off one of the most prestigious racing events in the world, the Red Arrows will be flying over Silverstone this Sunday (18/07) at roughly 2:10pm.

Their world famous Hawk T1A aircraft should be visible to many locals across some parts of Milton Keynes this coming weekend.

The Red Arrows are often deployed to celebrate landmarks and events of national importance such as the Queen’s birthday.

The British Grand Prix is due to start at 3pm, just after a display from the squadron that is sure to be memorable.

The government recently announced that the upcoming motorsport event would be open at full capacity - meaning all Silverstone ticket holders will be able to enjoy the event.

Prior to attending any racing events, ticket holders will be asked for either proof or a negative lateral flow test (taken within 48 hours of arrival) or proof of full vaccination.
