Popular handmade and vintage market returns to Milton Keynes shopping centre this weekend

The popular handmade and vintage market will be returning to the centre:mk this Saturday and Sunday.

The post-lockdown event will see Middleton Hall transform into a bustling square full of over 90 indoor market stalls, all hosting hand-picked exhibitors.

Every item sold at the market is a one-off and no retail items are permitted, meaning that shoppers will be supporting small independent businesses.

Shoppers can purchase antiques, art, food, spirits, clothing, specialist crafts, and more.

A spokesperson for the market explained: "To give you a small taster for Summer, there will be a variety of interior vintage pieces, from the weird and wonderful to the timeworn and chic.

"We have restored jukeboxes, vintage clothing and accessories, unusual jewellery (both handmade and vintage), dressmakers, milliners, original art and photography, quirky upcycled lamps, natural luxury skincare, music memorabilia, vintage fabrics and antique linens, collectibles, antiques, furniture, glass, china/ceramics, and much, much more. Customers are invited to commission bespoke items for that extra special gift! And remember, it is worth taking a break from the shopping to try out the amazing handmade cakes and brownies."

Entry is free, and you can find out more on MKFM's event page here
