Police issue update after estate road in Milton Keynes was sealed off this morning

Thames Valley Police has issued an update about an incident that took place in Netherfield this morning, with residents reporting that a stretch of road was closed off.

One person shared on social media that "loads of police" had blocked off part of the road from Farnborough towards Beadlemead.

And now, officers have confirmed that they attended an incident at a property in Beadlemead this morning (24/8).

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody.

"We would like to reassure you that this was an isolated incident and there is no wider danger to the public," said a police spokesperson.
