Police in Milton Keynes review 21 reports of domestic crimes in just one day

    Police in Milton Keynes reviewed 21 reports of new domestic crimes and incidents in the past twenty-four hours.

    This was announced during today's daily management meeting where officers discuss the most notable crimes and incidents across Milton Keynes from the past day.

    It was revealed that these reports of domestic crimes/incidents range from non-crime incidents to allegations of rape, stalking, threats to kill, assaults, harassment and criminal damage. 

    Aside from these incidents, there were a plethora of other crimes reported in the borough of Milton Keynes yesterday. These include: 

    3 reports of residential burglary 

    These incidents have been referred to the Priority Crime Team (PCT) for initial investigation.

    It was also announced that no robbery offences were reported during this time period. 

    5 reports of sexual offences 

    These offences have been transferred to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for review.

    1 report of race/hate crime 

    Police say this was common assault. 

    3 reports of actual body harm (ABH)

    "One suspect was arrested on suspicion of ABH and has been bailed with conditions for further enquiries."

    "One suspect has been charged and remanded to appear at court for assault by beating."

    Aside from these new reports, early turn officers have also started their shift with nine missing person investigations, four custody handovers, one unauthorised encampment and nine reports for non-compliance relating to COVID-19.
