Police called to incident involving a knife in Milton Keynes shopping centre

    Reports say Thames Valley Police were called at around 4.15pm to the scene of an altercation in MK shopping centre yesterday (23/7).

    At around 4:15pm on Friday (23/7), shoppers reported a man carrying a knife in busy Midsummer Place shopping centre.

    Reports say stores responded to an altercation by bringing down their shutters to protect shoppers.

    A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police has said: “Thames Valley Police was called at around 4.15pm yesterday (23/7) to reports of an altercation in MK shopping centre between four individuals who were also believed to have a knife.

    “Officers attended and four males were been arrested on suspicion of affray. They remain in custody at this time. A knife was also recovered.”
