Police appeal for witnesses following a robbery in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a teenager was the victim of a robbery in Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes.

Between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Monday 16 November, the victim, an 18-year-old boy, was walking near Heronsgate School, Lichfield Down, Walnut Tree in Milton Keynes.

He had earphones in and was listening to music and as he turned right onto Lichfield Down from an alleyway, he felt a punch to the back of his head, which caused him to fall to the floor, suffering a grazed knee.

The victim’s phone, headphones and school lanyard also fell out.

As he turned to find out what had caused him to fall, he was punched in the face by the offender, who was wearing a gold ring on his right middle finger.

The victim got up and fought his attacker off, and the offender then picked up the victim’s phone, headphones and lanyard and ran off.

The victim did not require hospital treatment.

The offender is described as white, between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 8ins tall with a broad build.

He was wearing a facial covering and black hooded top with a beanie-style hat with a white pattern on the side and a dark-coloured scarf. He was also wearing a pair of charcoal-coloured ripped baggy jeans.

Two other people were standing near some shops around 100 yards away, but no-one intervened.
