Police appeal following reports of stabbing during altercation in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in Milton Keynes yesterday (30/3).

    At around 6.35pm, police received a report of a stabbing during an altercation between a group of teenage boys and an older man on the redway that runs underneath V7 Saxon Street between Bradwell Common and Conniburrow.

    The victim is described as a man in his thirties wearing dark trousers with reflective strips.

    He was seen getting into a small red car being driven by a woman, also in her thirties, who had placed a bicycle in the boot of the vehicle.

    Detective Constable Lucy Brydon, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “Knife crime is not tolerated in Milton Keynes so I urge anyone who knows the victim of this assault or has any information about this incident to get in touch.

    “Anyone who was in that area with a bike or saw anything suspicious should please come forward.

    “Additional officers are patrolling Milton Keynes and carrying out stop and searches to find and remove weapons from our streets.
