Police appeal after 12 year old boy has foot run over in 'fail to stop' collision in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop road traffic collision in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

    At around 3.25pm on Thursday 16 January, the victim, a 12-year-old boy, was crossing Shenley Road, when a vehicle ran over his foot.

    The vehicle, believed to be blue or grey, failed to stop at the scene.

    The victim was taken to hospital where he was treated for a serious injury to his foot. He has since been discharged.

    Investigating officer, PC Polly Rayner, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident, during which a 12-year-old boy sustained a serious foot injury.

    “The vehicle did not stop at the scene, and I am requesting that any witnesses come forward and speak to police.

    “If anyone was in Shenley Road at around this time on January 16, please contact police if you have any information.

    “I would also like to appeal to any motorists who have a dash cam fitted to their car, to review the footage.
