People in Milton Keynes invited to make a Will and help support Willen Hospice

This October, local people are being invited to take advantage of a Will-writing service during Willen Hospice Will Month.

The charity has teamed up with solicitors and Will-writing professionals to make this service available to anyone who would like to create a new Will or change an existing one.

Throughout the whole of October they are offering to write Wills in return for a donation to the Hospice.

People have the choice to complete their Will in the comfort of their own homes by using the online service, or by booking a face to face appointment.

Will-writers will also be able to discuss leaving a legacy to Willen Hospice as part of the Will-writing process. Every legacy is used to make a real impact on the lives of the people who use Willen Hospice services.

Fiz Johnson, Legacy Fundraiser at Willen Hospice, said: “While you are writing your Will, please consider leaving a gift to Willen Hospice. Your donation will help us to plan ahead and help us care for others.

“I would like to thank all the solicitors and Will-writers who are taking part, for their willingness to support us during Will Month.”

Local Willen Hospice supporter, Nas said: We have pledged a gift to Willen Hospice in our Will as a way to thank them for the love and care they provided to dad during his final moments, it’s our way of giving something special back to them after we are gone, having the confidence knowing that our gift, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference to the lives of patients and their loved ones long into the future”

All the information, including participating Will-writers’ and solicitors’ details, can be found here.

Here is a list of Willen Hospice's participating solicitors or Will-writers. To book an appointment, please locate their details on the Willen Hospice website and contact them directly for an appointment. Outside of Will Month, their normal fees will apply.
