People aged 55 and over in Milton Keynes can now book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment

Any individual aged 55 or over in Milton Keynes can now book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

The vaccination rollout is well underway, with it being announced on Thursday (4/3) that over 95% of people over the age of 65 in Milton Keynes have had at least one dose.

It was then announced on Friday (5/3) that people aged 56 could book the jab, and it has since moved so quickly that people aged 55 are now being called forward - just days later.

In addition, people of any age who are at high risk of coronavirus (group 4 - clinically extremely vulnerable) or have a condition that puts them at higher risk (group 6 - clinically vulnerable) can book their appointment online now.

And the service is also open to anyone in Milton Keynes who is an eligible frontline health or social care worker, has a learning disability or is a main carer for someone at high risk from coronavirus.

The NHS is contacting all eligible residents by letter, but there is no need to wait for a letter to arrive before you can book an appointment online.

Residents must be registered with a GP practice in England in order to use the online booking service.

If you are eligible, you can book your appointment now by clicking here.
