Party-goers must provide 'COVID pass' or negative result when visiting Milton Keynes Nightclub

The nightclub has released a statement ahead of its re-opening night on Friday 23rd July.

After closing ahead of the first lockdown in March 2020, the doors to the nightclub have been closed ever since.

With re-opening night just around the corner, the nightclub has released its guidance for party-goers.

In a statement on Facebook, Pink Punters said: "Given the simplicity of both the ‘Covid Pass’ and the lateral flow testing (LFT), we have decided that one of these two measures will be required by all staff and customers before entering the club in the foreseeable future.

"Both measures require the NHS app. It takes just a few minutes to complete the registration and your vaccines will be displayed there. So if you are fully vaccinated then we strongly suggest that you do this, especially as the covid pass is likely to be required at more and more venues. If you haven’t been vaccinated then you will need to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test."

Lateral flow, also known as rapid tests, involve a swab in the nose or mouth, with the user able to get the result at home within thirty minutes - all without sending it away and can be ordered online here or found in pharmacies as well as at MK Library.

The popular nightclub, known by many as ‘Pinks’, celebrated its 20th anniversary in October last year and have said they 'can't wait' to see party goers on re-opening weekend.

The venue also had an exciting makeover including cocktail and Gin & Fizz bars which many excited customers never got to visit due to the pandemic outbreak.
