Owner's urgent plea as elderly Golden Retriever goes missing from her Milton Keynes home

    Have you seen Willow?

A local family has issued an urgent plea as their much-loved elderly Golden Retriever went missing from their home in New Bradwell on Saturday (19/6).

Willow was last seen wandering out of her home in Chipperfield Close just before midday, while the bins were being put out.

CCTV footage shows Willow, who is elderly and unwell, wandering out of the front garden at 11:50am.

There have been no sightings since despite the family constantly searching the local area, posters being made, and drones being used to search overhead.

Willow has been neutered and has health issues. Her owners are pleading for any help to bring the dog back home.

Hundreds of community members have offered to help find Willow and have searched areas surrounding New Bradwell over the weekend.

Chipperfield Close, where Willow went missing, is near the Grand Union Canal and the old railway, which is now a redway. This means the area could easily link to other parts of Milton Keynes such as Wolverton, Oakridge Park, Great Linford, and Newport Pagnell to name a few.

Residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary, whether it be a neighbour suddenly having a Golden Retriever, or a dog wandering alone.

If you have any information - or think you have Willow - then you can contact any vet in Milton Keynes or visit the Milton Keynes Police Station. They will be able to scan the dog's microchip and contact the owner.

Alternatively, you can call the lost dogs number on 08448003220 to make a report. Or, email MKFM directly and we will pass the information on to Willow's owner. You can contact us at news@mkfm.com.
