Number of people involved in an altercation armed with bladed weapons in Greenleys Milton Keynes

    A number of people were involved in an altercation involving bladed weapons last night (19/7), prompting yet another stop and search order.

    It followed reports of a mass brawl that took place in Ardwell Lane and Barkers Croft in Greenleys at 8pm.

    Officers have made one arrest in connection with the incident, and also recovered some bladed weapons that were discarded during the altercation.

    Thames Valley Police has been quick to authorise a Section 60, which is a stop and search order that gives police officers enhanced powers to search anybody in the area. 

    The order began at 9.14pm yesterday and will be in place for 24 hours, where it will be reviewed and could be extended.

    The order is in place for the area as shown in the map, which are the estates bounded by V4 Watling Street, Stratford Road, V6 Grafton Street and H3 Monks Way.
