Nominations now open for the Milton Keynes Mayor's Awards 2023

The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Amanda Marlow is asking residents to nominate individuals or groups that have made an impact in our community for the Milton Keynes Mayor's Awards 2023.

“It's been a unique year for Milton Keynes, with residents celebrating both the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, and the granting of Milton Keynes with City Status. We then had the very sad news of the death of HM The Queen on 8 September. Throughout this, the people of Milton Keynes have supported each other through a difficult year, affected by the highs and lows of not only national occasions and an international conflict, but also by everyday life” says Councillor Amanda Marlow. “I have heard of and witnessed so many wonderful acts of kindness. I have also listened to accounts of resiliency, generosity and selflessness and I know that this is just the tip of the iceberg of what happens in our City. I hope that the Mayor’s Awards will be the perfect opportunity for you to nominate someone or even an organisation, that has touched lives, as they deserve to be recognised for all that they do.”

"I’m delighted to be hosting the Mayor's Awards on Friday 24 February 2023 from 19.00 during the Mayor's Civic Reception and hope that nominees will pencil this date in their diary, as we’ll be inviting the winner and two runners up from each category to attend along with a guest each.”
