New posters give missing Leah Croucher's family from Milton Keynes 'renewed hope'

    Missing posters have been redesigned in hope that they will leave a more long lasting impact on people passing by and Leah Croucher's family have told Sky News that they have 'renewed help'.

    The brand new posters, which one of missing Leah Croucher from Milton Keynes, can be seen as an example, include less information. Making the posters stand out more to those walking by.

    The words MISSING have also been removed in the new design, with research showing that phases such as 'HELP FIND', makes those reading feel called to action. The background also includes a map in the background.

    QR codes replace the information on the posters, allowing people to link and share online. 

    Claire Croucher, the mother of Leah Croucher told Sky News: "One of the many challenges as a parent of a missing person is trying to communicate who you've lost.

    "We feel that if the public were to understand who our daughter is, they are more likely to remember seeing or meeting her.

    "Seeing Leah's face move and smile on these amazing new posters is wonderful and gives us renewed hope that Leah - and other missing people like her - will be reunited with their families."

    Leah, who was 19-years-old at the time of her disappearance, was reported missing from Emerson Valley, Milton Keynes on Friday 15 February 2019, by her family. They last saw her at 10pm the day before, 14 February, Valentine’s Day.

    The last confirmed sighting of Leah was at 8.16am on CCTV in Buzzacott Lane, Furzton, on the morning of 15 February, and the last activity on her phone was just after 8.30am that day.

    The new posters will be on billboards across London on 25th May as part of mark Missing Children's Day.
