MyMiltonKeynes and MKFM to light up the city centre this Christmas

Milton Keynes' BIGGEST Christmas lights switch-on with MyMiltonKeynes is back on Saturday 12th November with MKFM.

On 12th November, MyMiltonKeynes and MKFM are set to light up the skies in Milton Keynes with the annual Christmas light switch on.

MKFM will host the stage outside Midsummer Place from 4pm, as MyMiltonKeynes, the Business Improvement District (BID), invites you to enjoy fireworks, lasers, snow, fire, music and more at its spectacular Christmas lights switch-on.

Last year, families and friends from across Milton Keynes came together outside Midsummer Place to enjoy singing, dancing and some very merry mascots on the MyMiltonKeynes stage, hosted by MKFM.

As darkness descended on the city centre, Father Christmas joined the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Mohammed Khan and breakfast show presenters, Darren and Lia as they counted down to the big switch-on of 64,000 LED lights throughout the city centre.

The lights, invested into the city by the BID, and which will brighten central Milton Keynes every day until the New Year are in the shape of parcels, the three kings and wrapped around every tree lining central MK’s boulevard.

Following positive reviews and calls from the public, MyMiltonKeynes has announced the return this November.
