Multiple areas in Milton Keynes missed after food and garden waste collections return today

Milton Keynes Council apologised to residents today (15/03) after multiple areas were missed as food and garden waste collections return today after being suspended for two months.

Collections were suspended on 14th January due to being short-staffed after a number of positive Covid tests.

Newport Pagnell, Blakelands, Olney, Willen, Redhouse Park, Sherington and Giffard Park were all missed by Serco, Milton Keynes Council's waste contractor, as part of their food and garden waste collections.

The Council has assured residents in the affected areas that collections would take place first thing tomorrow morning (16/03).

Residents are asked to leave their waste out as normal for collection.
