Muddy Mayhem family obstacle course comes to MK in May

On Saturday 26th May at Willen Lake, the Royal British Legion hopes to recruit ‘Mud Squaddies’ to work together to walk, jog and crawl round its two-mile course packed with muddy obstacles.

Kicking off at 10am on the day, the event is perfect for the whole family and hopes to encourage people to get out, raise money and have fun. The course includes everything from mud pits, slides and climbing walls, with food and other entertainment waiting at the finish line.

Claire Rowcliffe, Director of Fundraising at The Royal British Legion, comments, “This is our first ever Muddy Mayhem run and we challenge families in across the region to step up to the starting line, show their support for our Armed Forces community, and help make the event a success.”

“It’s important that we help nurture young peoples’ awareness and understanding of the Legion and what we do. What a fantastic way to achieve this – bringing families together, building bonds and working as a team.”

Registration is only £15 for adults and £10 for kids (aged 6-12), and The Legion is asking teams to raise £150 to support a vast array of vital support services for the Armed Forces community  including family break centres.

Join the Mud Squad and be part of the mayhem! For more information and to register, visit www.rbl.org.uk/muddymayhem.
