Motorists warned as section of A5 in Milton Keynes closes for resurfacing works

    A section of the A5 is set to close affecting motorists in MK.

    Works are set to be carried out on the A5 over 6 weeks.

    National Highways plan to carry out work to resurface the A5 between Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout and Little Brickhill, in both directions.

    Taking place over 6 weeks, the work will take place between Tuesday 19th April and Friday 27th May, between 8pm and 6am, weeknights only.

    No work will be carried out on the May Day Bank Holiday.

    To carry out the work safely, the A5 will need to be closed between Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout and the Flying Fox Roundabout as follows:

    • Tuesday 19th April to Friday 27th May Southbound between Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout to the Flying Fox Roundabout 
    • Thursday 19th May to Friday 20th May Northbound between the Flying Fox Roundabout to Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout 

    Diversions will be in place during the A5 closures.

    Traffic will be diverted onto the A4146, A505 to then re-join the A5.
