MKFM receives reports of suspected murder in Milton Keynes

    MKFM understands there has been a suspected murder in Milton Keynes.

    Whilst not confirmed, MKFM understand this relates to the heavy police presence in Water Eaton today.

    Witnesses say police have sealed off an area of Water Eaton in Milton Keynes this morning and have remained there throughout the day.

    Local residents have taken to social media to report the heavy police presence, videos posted on Facebook show at least 9 police vehicles and forensics at the scene.

    UPDATE 18:35- Thames Valley Police has launched a murder investigation following a fatal stabbing.

    At around 11pm, officers were called to Buttermere Close by South Central Ambulance Service after a 44-year-old man from Bletchley had been stabbed.

    Emergency services treated him at the scene for serious injuries before taking him to Milton Keynes General Hospital, where he sadly died. His next of kin have been informed and specially trained officers are supporting them.
