MK Dons Sports and Education Trust deliver food parcels to vulnerable and self-isolating

MK Dons SET are working with Milton Keynes Council to deliver much needed food parcels to the vulnerable and those self-isolating in MK.

These lifeline parcels, to those who need them most in MK, are delivered using volunteer drivers from MK Dons SET and Stadium MK. Volunteers are giving up an hour a day to make sure these food parcels are safely delivered across Milton Keynes.

A spokesperson from MK Dons SET says, "We would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped to make this possible and supporting our local community. Thanks to your help in the last 2 weeks we have delivered 262 parcels around Milton Keynes."

In Partnership with Sofea, MK Dons SET hold a weekly food larder every Friday between 10am - 12pm and have given out 147 parcels to date. With the help of volunteers from MK Dons SET this will continue every Friday (including this bank holiday) for the foreseeable future.

More details about the MK Dons SET food larder can be found here.
