MK Dons SET to take part in 200km challenge for the NHS

MK Dons Sport and Education Trust will be walking, running and cycling 200km to raise money for the NHS.

Former Dons midfielder Dean Bowditch, now a Community Ambassador with the SET, announced on Twitter that he, along with his colleagues, will be doing what they can to reach a combined 200km while abiding by social distancing rules.

Dean is calling on supporters to contribution towards the total, and donate £1 for every KM that you do to keep supporting the heroes in the NHS.

He wrote on his JustGiving page: “We made a pledge as part of #MK20IN20 and it had been very tough to do anything whilst in lockdown.

“I want everyone to get involved and show their support not just for us as a team but for all our fantastic NHS heroes. They need our continued support so even if you have donated in the past, by giving anything again will really help show all our heroes how much we appreciate what they are doing right now.

“The NHS workers are doing an amazing job right now and even if we can help support them a little bit during these times then that would be great.”

To take part, visit the MK Dons SET’s JustGiving page and get involved with the challenge on Twitter via @MKDonsSET.
