MK Dons hiring new football kit operations manager

MK Dons are recruiting a new football kit operations manager, as Ian Lanning is set to depart Stadium MK at the end of the season after 20 years in the game.

On their website, Milton Keynes Dons have posted a message of thanks to Ian Lannig and his achievements during his time at the club. They said: "Ian has enjoyed over 20 years in the game, demonstrating extraordinary dedication during his time with the Dons as well as giving considerable service to Cardiff City.

Recently, Ian also recently an incredible sum of £2,750 for the MIND charity, braving the freezing conditions and snow in t-shirt and shorts against Rochdale, all in memory of his late good friend and former professional, Chris Barker.

Ian will be leaving the Football Club following the fixture with Rochdale in May to take up a new role, outside of football, in his home town of Bath."

The Club is therefore looking at now recruiting a football kit operations manager to organise, support and service all kit and equipment for training and matches for the MK Dons First Team and Academy, as well as manage the First Team and Academy Laundry operation, agreeing schedules, staff rotas and delivering all laundered kit.

They describe their ideal candidate as being able to: "have the capacity to carry out a physically demanding job role; work weekends, all first team matchdays and unsocial hours; meet set targets and manage staff; and communication skills. They should also have a passion for football as well as the ability to work on own initiative, with supervisory experience and knowledge of managing budgets."
