MK Dons are 'close but need to work the keeper more' says Millen

Assistant Manager, Keith Millen, tells MKFM they need to get the blend right to score goals.

"We've got some good options in and around the team we've got plenty of defensive cover now it's just getting that blend right of how we're going to score goals and who's going to score the goals."

Micciche and Millen have been tinkering with the line-ups and positions in their two games in charge, with some players playing in positions we haven't seen them in before. Millen says, "It's important that we ask the players to do a job for the team that they're comfortable doing and it gives them confidence"

Having lost only 1-0 in both games since Neilson left the club, Millen doesn't think the Dons are too far away from a successful formula, "The last two games have been close, we've dominated both of those games for long periods and we'd had good chances and I think if we'd scored the first goal the scoreline would have been reversed"

MK Dons currently sit in 22nd position in League One, ticket details for Saturday's match against Portsmouth can be found here.
