Milton Keynes to transform into 'massive game of Cluedo' for outdoor murder-mystery event

Milton Keynes will soon transform into a 'massive game of Cluedo' as part of a self-guided outdoor detective game.

CluedUpp mysteries is hosting a detective game, all played through a smartphone app, that will see teams scramble across Milton Keynes to find the make-believe killer called 'The Ripper'.

On 8th May, teams of up to six people will crack clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges - all while soaking in the sun and enjoying the local sights.

CluedUpp says that the world-first "geogaming" event is similar to outdoor escape games, but on a greater scale.

Team members will travel to locations across Milton Keynes whilst using the specialised app, so they can interrogate virtual witnesses as part of the hunt for The Ripper.

The city-wide murder-mystery game takes place outdoors, so is fully COVID-compliant, and the start times are fully flexible to minimise active player numbers.

CluedUpp explains: "The only people you will be within 2-metres of on the day are your own team-mates."

Tickets are limited, and the start locations will also be mixed to reduce the number of people in one place.

The Cluedo-style game will be coming to Milton Keynes on Saturday 8th May and you can find out more, and get tickets, here
