Milton Keynes shopping centre unveils summer events schedule including return of popular vintage market

Local shopping centre, the centre:mk, has welcomed the return of events by unveiling its summer event schedule.

Under the latest Government guidelines, stage three of the roadmap out of lockdown means that events can take place so long as they operate at reduced capacity to allow for social distancing.

And as the summer quickly approaches, the centre:mk has announced the varied events and fairs that will be coming to the city in the next few months.

The first will be the Stylefest Fashion Show taking place in Middleton Hall, outside John Lewis, from 29th to 30th May.

Also on the 29th May will be the Kids Club Fantastic Football fun, marking the start of the half-term holiday just outside M&S.

Then, for the duration of the half-term break until 4th June will be the Kids Club - again outside M&S - offering a whole host of activities for children.

The following weekend, from the 5th and 6th June, the Handmade & Vintage Summer Fair will be returning.

This event, which is in Middleton Hall, features hundreds of independent traders selling antiques, art, food, spirits, clothing, specialist crafts, and more.

A spokesperson for the centre:mk said: "We are so excited to welcome a host of events back to the centre, so get ready to save the date!"

Later in the summer, there will also be several events taking place in the centre:mk as part of the International Festival. There will be artwork installations in Middleton Hall and Queen's Court.
