A local Milton Keynes scout group have brightened the spirits of residents in a city care home this Christmas.
Young people from the Loughton Scout Group designed Christmas cards with heart warming messages for residents of Ashby Care Home.
Knowing that many people in the city will be spending Christmas alone this year, they wanted to make sure that they thought of others and made someone smile this Christmas.
Carers at the home said: "We are overwhelmed by the kindness of the Scouts and helped our residents to get into the festive spirit."
"We have displayed the cards throughout the home for all to enjoy."
