Milton Keynes pub forced to temporarily close due to number of staff self-isolating

The Hungry Horse in Broughton has today announced that they were forced to close their doors after a number of their staff have been told to self-isolate.

Taking to social media to express their disappointment, a spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, due to the number of our team self isolating, we will not be open at all over the next few days.

"Sorry for any inconvenience caused folks. Stay safe."

Once someone has been told to self-isolate they must stay at home for the next 10 full days.

If symptoms arise while self-isolating, a PCR test should be taken.

If the result is negative, people must remain self-isolating for the rest of the 10 days.

If the test is positive, the 10 days restarts from the day after your symptoms started. This will mean you're self-isolating for more than 10 days overall.
