Milton Keynes primary school thank the community for device donations

The appeal for old devices made by Knowles Primary School, which we featured 2 weeks ago, was a huge success with over £1600 of donations.

The school said they were overwhelmed and humbled by the support of the wider community after they were struggling to give all pupils, who needed it, equipment for home learning.

Over 60 laptops were donated to the school, which they will repurpose so that children can now access remote learning.

The school also used the donations to purchase 4G routers for families who don't have internet access.

The community's donations means that the school's vulnerable pupils now have access to school from home.

The school paid special thanks to; Rightmove, Practical Car Rental, Healthcare marketing company Stockdale Martin and the Freeman Memorial Church, all of whom made large contributions of equipment or money.

Knowles Primary School is still accepting donations of money or old equipment to ensure all its pupils have access to remote learning.

Anyone wishing to make a donation can contact the school on 01908 373588 or email itsupport@kpsmk.uk.
