Milton Keynes petrol stations compared as pump prices soar across UK

It comes as oil prices soar amid concerns over the reliability of supplies due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Yesterday (9/3), motorists in the UK were hit with the highest daily average price rise in diesel. In just one day, the cost per litre shot up by nearly 3p.

The RAC say that for the first time ever, the cost to fill up a tank of diesel in a typical family car has reached higher than £90. They say the 2.9p jump in the price of diesel was the largest they have ever recorded.
