Pink Punters to reopen on Sundays this week from 10pm – 3am, with three resident DJ’s playing games & competitions, for the first time since before the Pandemic.
The popular nightclub, known by many as ‘Pinks’ has announced it is reopening on a Sunday night with the launch of all new 'Cheeky Sundays'.
Pink Punters say club-goers can expect 3 DJ's hosting a Sunday night like never before from 10pm until 3am with DJ Jamie C, Paul Biz bringing the Ground Bar party tunes and DJ Ritchie in one room every week from 14th May.
"After the pandemic wreaked havoc across the industry, especially at Pink Punters, where the clientele was so diverse. Anxieties about Covid remained for a while and the younger generations had fewer worries about coming out and were partying like nothing ever happened. The older generations were a little more cautious and as a result, the demographics changed from very mixed to generally quite young," Ainya, owner of Pink Punters told MKFM.
"It’s always been our diversity that makes us as successful as we are and we found that the changes took their toll on Thursdays and Sundays in particular. As a result, we needed to scale back on those nights - Thursdays first and then Sundays - but now things have markedly improved again and whilst Covid remains, the pandemic seems a distant past - It's clear, the people have spoken as they are missing their popular "Cheeky Sundays" - and so they’re back, by popular demand and with more vigour than ever.
"A trio of our great DJs poised to re-energise the nights with those who want to let their hair down and have a great night out with family/friends, old and new. We welcome people from all backgrounds who understand and respect the diversity the venue offers. It’s a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can meet great people from all over the world. Entry is £5 with drinks costing £3 and £2 shots all night.
