A man has been jailed for multiple driving offences in Milton Keynes.
Maison Keane pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and fraudulent use of a registration plate.
The 25-year-old, of Napier Street, Bletchley, was sentenced to a year and 2 months at Amersham Crown Court on Wednesday (26/1).
The dangerous driver was also disqualified from driving for 3 years and 7 months.
At around 6.30pm on 28th March last year, Keane’s vehicle was initially sighted by local response officers who initiated a pursuit.
Keane then drove dangerously to avoid capture.
An officer from the Roads policing unit took over the pursuit leading to Keane fleeing the vehicle on foot where he was captured during a foot chase and subsequently arrested by Roads policing before being charged with the offences.
PC Matt Watson part of the Roads Policing unit, said: “This was a case of dangerous driving which occurred in Bletchley and was witnessed by numerous members of the public.
“Maison Keane attempted to fraudulently alter the identity of his vehicle to avoid detection whilst driving without a licence or insurance.
“Thames Valley police are committed to making the road network a safer place and will target offenders who show a flagrant disregard for the law.”
