Milton Keynes University Hospital have cancelled their planned recruitment weekend due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.
In a tweet, the Hospital said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, our recruitment event this weekend has had to be postponed.”
”Those who had expressed an interest in the event will be contacted with a new date once it is arranged. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
The news is the first media statement from the Hospital since a man with coronavirus was reported to have died at Milton Keynes Hospital.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock confirmed the death but there has still been no statement from Public Health England or the NHS.
