Every year charities and community groups from Milton Keynes rally around to raise funds for their causes by selling Charity Car Raffle tickets with the chance for one lucky winner to win a car for £1!
This year, sellers have sold over 21,940 tickets raising an incredible £21,940. Groups retain at least 50% of the funds raised from ticket sales and the remaining money goes towards MK Community Foundation’s grant-making programme, benefiting community groups across Milton Keynes.
This year’s grand prize is a Volkswagen up! beats 1.0 90 PS TSI 5-speed Manual 5 Door in white, generously donated by Volkswagen Group UK Ltd. It was the task of the Mayor of Milton Keynes to pick the winning ticket before the lively MK Lightning crowd at the home game vs Coventry Blaze.
