Milton Keynes-based nursery school closes due to positive coronavirus case

    A Milton Keynes-based nursery remains closed after a positive case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the afternoon bubble.

    Knowles Nursery School in Bletchley was forced to close on Monday 18th January and will remain closed until tomorrow (26/1).

    A child in the afternoon bubble tested positive for the virus meaning all afternoon children and staff that were in school on Friday 15th January have had to self-isolate.

    The nursery school has been providing online learning content and daily nursery rhymes on Facebook for children whilst in isolation.

    In other news, three schools are closed today (25/1) due to snowy and icy conditions. 

    Emerson Valley Junior School is one of the three closed today and said: "Due to snow and icy conditions the school will be closed on Monday 25th January 2021."

    Merebrook Infant and The Walnuts School are also closed today due to the icy conditions.
