Mikey Faulkner has joined local radio station MKFM in Milton Keynes to present a brand new breakfast show starting this week.
The news comes as part of a wider refresh of the radio station, which includes playing ten songs in a row commercial-free at various points across the day. MKFM also has a new hourly feature to celebrate Milton Keynes’ 50th Birthday with listeners being invited to help establish MK’s top 50 songs of all time by requesting any song from the last 50 years.
Mikey is well-known to local listeners having previously worked at both Horizon Radio and Heart 103.3. He has also recently been hosting the daytime show on The Beach in Lowestoft.
Mikey Faulkner said “I can’t wait to get started at MKFM, having known a lot of the team here for a long time it will be fantastic to be able to broadcast every morning and make a real impact. I’ve got plenty of awesome ideas for the show and of course all the latest news, travel and weather for Milton Keynes.”
