Micciche owes the Dons fans a big performance on Saturday

The Dons boss wants to reward the fans for their support through this tough period.

It's been a tough start for Dan Micciche, losing his first four games in charge, and he's aware how important the support from the fans is. Speaking to MKFM, Dan says "I think they've got a massive role to play, I think the ones that came on Tuesday were a credit to the club"

"We owe them a big performance on Saturday, we owe them three points, we're playing for them, they've stuck by us"

Micciche knows that as well as winning games, the Dons fans appreciate good football. And that's what he's trying to bring back to MK Dons. Dan says "This is why this club is unique and this is why i came back. At a lot of clubs they'll forgive you if they see hard work but i think at this club that's not enough."

"I think they want to see good football, they want to see a team that's interesting to watch, they want to see a team that's well coached and look like they've got a plan and i think they've seen that over the three weeks that we've been here and i just hope we can reward them with three points."

MK Dons host Charlton, managed by former boss Karl Robinson, at Stadium:MK on Saturday.
