Met Office issues weather warning for wind across Milton Keynes

The Met Office has issued a weather warning for wind across Milton Keynes over the next couple of days.

The expected windy and showery weather is a big switch up from the previous Spring-like sunshine that residents across the city have been enjoying.

The Met Office says that the yellow warning may see "strong winds accompanied by heavy and blustery showers" and may bring disruption to travel.

This warning will last from 9pm on Wednesday (10/3) through to 3pm on Thursday (11/3). It covers Milton Keynes and the rest of the country.

Residents should expect delays to road and rail transport, with it being likely that some bus and train journeys may take longer than usual.

Short-term loss of power and other services is also possible.
