McDonald's confirms that all six drive-thru's in Milton Keynes will be reopening

It has now been confirmed that all six McDonald's drive-thru's in Milton Keynes will be reopening next Thursday (4/6).

This confirmation follows our exclusive story yesterday, where we revealed that the six sites reopening are Westcroft, Wolverton, Bow Brickhill (A5 Watling St), Stadium MK, Portway (near the Station) and Kingston.

Following the successful pilot, McDonald's will be reopening 924 drive-thru's across the UK by the 4th June.

Fewer employees will be working in the restaurants to ensure social distancing can be followed. A limited menu will be served (no breakfast, wraps or milkshakes) over reduced hours (11am-10pm).

There will also be a spend cap of £25 per car and customers will be encouraged to use contactless payments where possible.

Customers will be encouraged not to block roads and to return later on if there is queue of traffic.

The sites at centre:mk and Xscape will remain closed.

Currently, the closest McDonald's sites to Milton Keynes which are open are in Dunstable and Luton.
