McDonald's and Amazing CMK bid to continue Autumn Love Where You Live Events

On Thursday 26th October, teams from McDonald’s and Amazing CMK Business Improvement District continue to improve Central Milton Keynes.

...And they are inviting local workers and residents to join in with the penultimate Love Where You Live event of 2017.

At 12pm a group of new and regular Love Where You Live volunteers will meet at the centre:mk branch of McDonald’s before heading towards Silbury Boulevard, near Civic Offices, CMK Library and Lloyds Court, for a lunchtime filled with litter picking, street furniture painting, weeding and jet washing.

Love Where You Live is the local output of a partnership between McDonald’s and Keep Britain Tidy.  Over the last four years, over 30 events have been held in Milton Keynes.

Ken Tomkins, owner of local franchise group Kaizen Restaurants, commented “We are proud of the difference our Love Where You Live events have made to Central Milton Keynes, with over 300 bags of rubbish and recycling collected this year alone!  We look forward to welcoming the autumn months with an action packed event this October.”

The final event of 2017 takes place in Central Milton Keynes on Thursday 21 December from 12-2pm.

Chief Executive Melanie Beck said, “Amazing CMK Business Improvement District are delighted to continue engaging with local businesses and residents to keep the city litter free as part of our Big City Clean Up.”
