Man missing from Milton Keynes is found following mass social media appeal

Aaron Francis, who was last seen at Milton Keynes Hospital on Sunday morning, has now been found thanks to a widescale social media campaign.

Mr Francis was said to have been "hearing voices" and went to the hospital to "get help" but went missing after leaving his belongings, including phone, wallet, and keys, in the waiting area.

Simeon Francis, Aaron's brother, later took to social media posting an emotional appeal that was seen by thousands of local people.

On Monday (5/10), Thames Valley Police confirmed that an investigation had been launched in order to locate him.

And on Tuesday (6/10, Simeon updated social media to announce that his brother had been found. He said: "[sic] Thank you to everyone. My brother Aaron has now been found after being recognised by someone on there CCTV outside there house but big thank you to all the people who reposted and shared over the past 2 days.

"We are forever grateful for everyone's efforts, and messages, and enquiries. [The post] had over 2000 shares and someone was able to recognise him through that. Aaron is now getting the help he needs so couldn't of asked for a better outcome."
