    Man left hospitalised after he was assaulted and robbed by group of men in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery that has left the victim requiring hospital treatment.

    It happened at around 11.30am yesterday (24/1) when the victim, a man in his fifties, was walking through Oldbrook estate when he was approached by three or four men.

    The men assaulted the victim and stole his mobile phone then fled the scene.

    The victim sustained significant head injuries and is currently being treated at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

    The offenders are all described as white men aged in their early twenties.

    Investigating officer Sergeant Patrick Navin, based at Milton Keynes police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has any information that might help with our investigation to please get in touch.
