Man killed in collision on A509

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision which occurred at around 4am on Monday in Milton Keynes.

    A single vehicle collision occurred involving a black Mitsubishi Galant on the A509, Chicheley Hill.

    A 33-year-old male occupant sustained fatal injuries and died the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

    A 25-year-old man, who was also travelling in the vehicle, received minor injuries during the collision.

    Investigating officer PC Naomi Hames, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are appealing for a specific witness, a passerby who stopped and spoke to police on a mobile phone at the time of the incident. We believe this man was called Joseph.

    “We are appealing for him to come forward to police as he may have vital information which could assist us with our investigation.”

    A 25-year-old man from Milton Keynes has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released under investigation.
