Man arrested following racially aggravated criminal damage in Milton Keynes

    Police are asking anyone with information or CCTV footage of any of these incidents to please come forward to assist in the investigation

    Between 21 February 2018 and 2 April 2018, Thames Valley Police received reports of 26 offences of criminal damage across the LPA of Milton Keynes.

    The incidents involved graffiti at places of worship, the graffiti was of a racist nature.

    The incidents happened in Willen, Broughton, Linford Wood and Kingston and involved graffiti being daubed on grave stones and also inside some church buildings. The Newport Pagnell war memorial was also targeted.

    Milton Keynes Neighbourhood Inspector Michael Morland, said: “We are carrying out a thorough investigation in connection with this incident.

    The man aged 34 has been arrested has been detained under the mental health act.
