Local organisation to give free employability and cooking training courses to Milton Keynes residents

A local organisation is hosting free employability and cooking training courses for Milton Keynes residents.

MK Melting Pot is a small but impactful non-profit organisation that has been running for over 10 years.

Melting Pot was established by Jade Adewunmi Jaiyeola, a youth co-ordinator, after several years experience of trying to engage the youth and assist those that are socially excluded.

The project has been financed by Jade herself through business innovation and development, Milton Keynes College, and by the goodwill of family and friends.

MK Melting Pot is now hosting free employability and cooking training for MK residents.

The course, which is available for anyone in receipts, will allow residents to improve their skills in 6 weeks.

The employability help includes support such as CV writing, Interview skills training, mentoring and will take place over zoom. Cooking skils classes will take place at Wolverton Park Bowls Club House Hall every Wednesday and will include multicultural cooking sessions, help in creating simple meals from scratch and healthy eating habits help.
