Local mental health organisation to provide support to frontline NHS workers

Arthur Ellis Mental Health Support has set up online emotional de-briefing digital group sessions for NHS frontline workers.

A session for a frontline worker will provide the opportunity for them to speak to one of the Arthur Ellis Mentors once a week in a safe environment.

Jon Manning, CEO of Arthur Ellis Mental Health, said: “Female Nurses are 23% more at risk to suicide than average. We need to act if we want to #ProtectOurNHS and the people in it.

"The numbers of calls to our organisation increase every day. Many are directly from front line NHS workers who are finding it difficult to cope with the enormous pressures they are working under, and we are experiencing a substantial increase in requests for help from front line leaders and directors who are expressing concerns about how their staff are coping, not just now but when this is all over.”

Arthur Ellis MHS, would like to offer sessions free of charge to NHS frontline groups. To do this they are asking high net worth individuals, celebrities and corporate companies to donate and sponsor this initiative to help achieve this aim.

Viewers and listeners can also donate or sponsor a £5 session. Find out more here.

Frontline workers who wish to receive support from Arthus Ellis Mental Health Support are asked to complete the confidential self-referral form
