Green thumbs living in Coffee Hall are being encouraged to enter the Best Gardens Competition.
Research shows that people spent far more time in their garden during lockdown, and that millennials ended up spending twice as much money on gardening-related products than any other age group.
As a result of this gardening buzz, Christ the Vine Community Church has launched the competition to find the best garden in Coffee Hall.
David Hart, organiser of the competition, said: "We wanted to do something for our local community that particularly encourages those who may have been in lockdown but been tending to their gardens. And we also wanted to celebrate some of the great gardens in Coffee Hall."
Dobbies and Frosts Garden Centre have donated £20 gift vouchers as prizes for the best kept front or back gardens.
